MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. – Run 4 Recovery, Drug Crisis in Our Backyard, Search for Change and the Alliance for Safe Kids (ASK) have set a date for the 11th annual Run for Recovery to celebrate National Recovery Month this September.

This year's event will support individuals on their journey toward recovery while providing a fun-filled day for all members of the community. The in-person 5K will take place on Saturday, Sept. 27, at FDR State Park, with the option to participate virtually throughout the month. Run for Recovery will once again feature an on-site Save A Life Wellness Fair, providing attendees with access to crucial resources and information. Additionally, the Virtual Save A Life Wellness Fair continues to be available at savealifewellnessfair.vfairs.com, connecting the public to essential resources year-round.

In a unique opportunity for local businesses and groups to sponsor a meaningful initiative, the Run for Recovery invites participation and sponsorship from all sectors of the community. By joining forces with Run 4 Recovery, Drug Crisis in Our Backyard, Search for Change and the Alliance for Safe Kids (ASK), sponsors contribute to fostering community well-being and supporting individuals in need.

The official launch of the Run for Recovery was celebrated at the Search for Change Community Recognition Breakfast on Thursday, May 8.

Now is the time to come together as a community to support individuals in reclaiming their lives. You can participate in the Run for Recovery by visiting the event's fundraising page via text at RUN4RECOVERY to 71-777 or at bit.ly/RunforRecovery to register, sponsor, or donate.
