How old were you when you started playing lacrosse and what got you started?

I was 5 years old. I first got into it as my older brother Dominic was already playing for Shrub Oak Lacrosse and I was always at his practices and games.

What was your favorite thing about being on the Lakeland/Panas boys lacrosse team?

The bond that I was able to form with my teammates but also with my coaches, alumni, and other members of the community.

What was your favorite team activity or pre- or post-game ritual?

My favorite team activity was our competition periods during practice when the team would split in two and play against each other in a drill, as it brought a lot of energy and fun every day.

Who has been your biggest role model?

My brother who was a three-sport varsity athlete and really guided me throughout my athletic career.

Tell us one thing about yourself that not a lot of people know.

I played the violin in the Lakeland Philharmonic Orchestra for all four years of high school and was the first chair violinist of the orchestra my senior year.

What do you plan to do after high school?

I’m going to be attending Stevens Institute of Technology, where I’ll be majoring in civil engineering.

What’s your favorite sports team?

The New York Giants. I’ve been to a lot of games and was always playing football when I was younger.

What was your favorite music to listen to while warming up for a game?

I would always listen to music from bands I like such as the Red Hot Chilli Peppers or the Smiths.

If you could pick one place to visit on vacation that you’ve never been to, where would you go?

If I could go somewhere I’d never been before for a vacation, I would choose Italy for all the culture and tourist attractions but also for the weather and food.

What would you say to a young athlete about trying out for the Lakeland/Panas boys lacrosse team?

To focus on building their strength, explosiveness, and to study the game of lacrosse at a high level, while also showing up to practice every day ready to take critiques the coaches give you with a positive mindset to grow as a player.
