Paula Ann Cipollone, 55, passed away on July 3, 2026, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born in 1971, in the Bronx, New York, Paula spent her life working in New York City and building a life centered on faith, family, and those she loved most.
One of Paula's favorite expressions was, “It’s in God's hands." Those words reflected the faith and strength that carried her through life's challenges.
Paula was known for her fiery yet loving personality. She didn't always have a filter, but with Paula, you always knew where you stood. Her honesty, humor, and big heart made a lasting impression on everyone she met. She loved shopping, designer handbags, and anything leopard print.
Above all else, Paula loved her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband, John, for 28 years, and a loving mother to her sons, Michael and Matthew. She treasured time spent together as a family and was always looking out for the people she loved, often keeping a close eye on her boys' locations simply to make sure they were safe.
Paula shared a special bond with her mother, Virginia; her father, Matthew, who predeceased her in 2019; her brother, Matthew; and her sister-in-law, Wendy. She also leaves behind her cherished lifelong friends, Dominique and Marianne, with whom she shared countless memories growing up in the Bronx and attending St. Catherine Academy, where she graduated from high school.
Paula is also survived by her mother-in-law, Rose; her sisters-in-law, Angela and Antonette; and her brother-in-law, Frank. She was predeceased by her father-in-law, Michelangelo.
Though her family and friends are heartbroken by her loss, they take comfort in the love, laughter, strength, and countless memories she leaves behind.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Paula's memory to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to support cancer research and patient care. Donations may be made through MSK Giving. Please click on the link below.
