Nancy C Paskin passed on July 6, 2026 at age 79. A long-time resident of Yorktown Heights, NY and beloved wife of the late Samuel M Paskin. She is survived by siblings Susan Collins, Dearborn Heights, MI and David Miller (Trish), Garden City, MI and step-nephew, Bill McLeskey also of MI. Nancy was raised in Dearborn, MI, the eldest child of Carl and Ruth Miller.
Nancy, a career rehabilitation teacher of the blind, working in the field for 40 years, 25 of them at Lighthouse International as an administrator and teacher. She worked tirelessly on certification and licensing for blindness professionals and taught in 5 university degree programs for Rehabilitation Teachers. A graduate of WMU, Kalamazoo, for her BA and MA degrees, she was named "Outstanding Alumni" in 2003. Nancy authored several books and articles on rehabilitation. She consulted on movies and TV shows including "Scent of a Woman." She loved many crafts, genealogy and being creative.
A memorial visitation will be scheduled at a later date.
