Ready to strike a chord? The Yorktown High School Music Boosters are seeking community support for its annual tag sale.
The sale will take place Saturday, Oct. 18, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the YHS Band Room. Organizers said hundreds of families contribute to the event, making it a massive community sale. In addition to bargains, the event will feature live music, baked goods, and family-friendly fun.
Donations for the sale will be accepted the day before, on Friday, Oct. 17, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the YHS Band Room. The boosters are seeking donations of new or gently used collectibles, books, household items, small working appliances, clothing, furniture, toys, sports equipment, and other treasures. However, they are unable to accept baby items, stuffed animals, upholstered furniture, mattresses, pillows, or exercise equipment.
Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Yorktown High School music program.
