Mary “Cyrilla” Ormsby (nee Parsons) of Yorktown Heights, NY died on March 9, 2026.
As she was affectionately referred to, Cyrilla, worked as a Casting Director for William Morris Agency, in Manhattan, for thirty years followed by a career in Real Estate for Keller Williams. She was a classically trained Pianist who performed with various bands and musicians throughout the tri-state area.
Cyrilla was born in New York City to John and Helen Parsons.
She graduated from The Academy of Mount St. Ursula in the Bronx followed by Hunter College.
In 1970, she married Michael Ormsby at St. Luke’s Church in Bronx, NY.
She was a resident of Yorktown since 1976 where she was an active member of St. Patrick’s Church and numerous organizations within her community. Cyrilla will be remembered for her kindness to those she cared for, her love of music, and especially her love of animals.
She is survived by her husband Michael, her daughter Maura, her son-in-law Michael, and her three grandchildren, Caileigh, Orla, and Landon. She is also survived by many family and friends here as well as in Ireland.
