Lucille Ceo, beloved sister, aunt, godmother and dear friend, passed away on January 28, 2025. Born in the Bronx, NY, to her parents Rocco and Lucy Ceo (DiNapoli), she called the Bronx home for several years before moving to New Fairfield, CT where she lived for 15 years until she purchased her forever home in Brewster, NY.

Lucille established an esteemed career, first with the Federal Bureau of Investigations and then retired from professional life after also working for Pepsi Co. for over two decades.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Lucille was drawn to gardening and landscaping and prided herself on the process and outcomes of such pastimes. Her family and friends were paramount to her life, with her nieces, nephews, great-niece and great-nephews as absolute and unwavering lights.

She also treasured visits with Maxi, Barbara’s 32-year-old cockatoo, who loved to sit on her shoulder and reply to questions.

Lucille was cherished, loved and esteemed by many people. Her sister Emily Pontonio (Ceo), niece Barbara Harvat (Pontonio), nephews Joe (Heather), Steven (Elaine) and Robert (Agnes), her great-niece Caitlin Rose, and great-nephews Ryan, Alex, Michael, Maximilian, Vincent, Matthew and Gabriel will all miss her, but her memory will continue to be held dear by all who knew her.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY 10509.

Mass was held on Saturday, February 1, at St. Lawrence O’Toole Catholic Church, 31 Prospect Street, Brewster, NY 10509.
