Lakeland Central School District will cancel all games, activities and building operations beginning at noon Saturday, Sept. 26, due to the anticipated nor’easter and potentially hazardous weather and strong winds.
The closure will remain in effect all day Sunday, Sept. 27, and includes all events and activities scheduled to take place in district buildings, Superintendent of Schools Karen Gagliardi announced Friday.
District officials said they will continue to monitor weather conditions and provide updates as needed.
“Thank you for your understanding,” Gagliardi wrote. “Please stay safe.”
