June Veronica Arcure, age 86, of Peekskill, NY passed away peacefully on April 14, 2026.
She was born in 1940 in Bronx, NY to John and Vera Connors. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Michael (Mickey) Arcure and her brother John Connors. She is survived by her three children Michael, John and Danielle, her two daughters-in-law Simone and Deanna and her five grandchildren: Alexa, Johnathan, Christopher, Michael and Joseph.
She spent her life caring for her children and working in retail and/or being a salon receptionist for many years. She had a fierce love of animals and had many pets over the years. She enjoyed music and dancing and working on arts and crafts in her spare time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA or American Lung Association.
