Celebrating the Life of Graciela Rodas Rojas.

In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to support missions in Colombia that were very dear to our mother's heart. https://gofund.me/c0fb8135

Graciela Rodas Rojas danced her way into heaven on March 5, 2025 likely charming St. Peter at the gates and convincing him to let her throw just one more party. Born in Ibagué, Colombia, to her beloved mother, Emma Rodas, Graciela lived a life that was equal parts faith and fun—a former nun who never forgot how to have a good time.

A devoted Catholic, she balanced her love for God with her love for a good party, proving that holiness and a little hip-shaking were not mutually exclusive. If there was music, she was dancing. If there was a room full of people, she was making them laugh. And if there was a handsome gentleman nearby, well… let's just say she knew how to make him blush in the sweetest way possible.

Graciela's greatest joy was her family. As a mother to Freeman, Jorge Agusto, Francis, John Paul, and Paola Andrea, she filled their lives with love, laughter, and enough stories to last a lifetime. She never missed an opportunity to travel and visit loved ones, always bringing warmth and energy wherever she went. Whether she was in a bustling city or a quiet home, she had a way of making every place feel like a celebration.

She had a sharp wit, a radiant spirit, and a heart that welcomed everyone. Graciela could turn an ordinary moment into something special, whether through a joke, a dance, or a simple act of kindness. She made people feel seen, loved, and, most importantly, ready to embrace life with joy.

Though she is no longer with us, her laughter echoes on, her love remains, and her legacy of faith and fun continues in the hearts of all who knew her. Graciela, we know you're up there keeping heaven lively—until we meet again, keep the music playing
