Georgianna Nadia Hoffman of Mahopac, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on Nov. 2, 1944, in the Bronx, Georgianna's life was one marked by devotion, leadership, and an unwavering spirit of service.

Predeceased by her loving parents, Gregory and Geraldine (neƩ Cuomo) Selivonchik, Georgianna's legacy is carried on by her beloved husband of nearly 53 years, Joseph Hoffman, whom she married on April 21, 1972. She is also survived by her children, Lisa, Eric, and Sonia Hoffman; granddaughter Grace and her siblings George(Larraine) and Gregory(Diane) Selivonchik.

Georgianna's commitment to service was evident through her impactful work. As the Past President of the Mahopac Lions Club, she led with grace and determination, inspiring those around her to give back and make a difference. Her role as a past chaplain of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary showcased her dedication to supporting veterans and their families, a cause close to her heart.

Georgianna's interests reached beyond her community work, as she had an undeniable love for shopping. Her keen eye for style and her joy in finding the perfect items brought her immense pleasure and often served as a way for her to connect with friends and loved ones.

All are welcome to attend a visitation on Friday, April 4 from 4-8 p.m. at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home in Mahopac. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 5th at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, also in Mahopac. Private cremation will follow.
