Elizabeth Kathryn Maher, 84 passed away on January 25, 2026, at Calvary Hospital, after a long and brace battle with cancer. Elizabeth was born in Yonkers New York on June 20, 1941, to Charles and Kathryn Spruck. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Yonkers. Elizabeth worked as a Supervisor for the Municipal Housing Authority for the City of Yonkers, until her retirement in 1998. Elizabeth devoted her life to her family, She was known for kindness, shopping, phone calls and always being there when we needed her. Her generosity knew no bounds. Loving mother of John (Nancy), Beth (Bobby) and Kathy (Robert); cherished grandmother of Brianna (Marc). Melissa (Tyler), Nicky, Alyssa, Phillip, and Johnny; and her incredibly special great granddaughter Gia. Elizabeth is predeceased by her brothers Charles and Thomas. Although our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the life she lived and the love she gave so freely. She will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
