Anson "Butch" Field, of Bedford Hills, NY, passed away peacefully on the morning of April 4th, 2025. Born in Mahopac, NY, Butch was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend who lived a full life filled with love and devotion to those who meant the most to him.
Butch was the proud father of three children: Christopher (Gabby), Suzanne Corsi (Joe), and Louis. He cherished his role as a father and was a dedicated grandfather to his four grandchildren—Joseph III (Jacqui), Timothy, Danielle Falconer (Matthew), and Kaitlyn—and two great-grandchildren, Joseph IV ("Four") and Isabella. Butch was a loving husband to Gladys Field, who passed away before him, leaving a lasting legacy of love. His love for his family knew no bounds, and he took great joy in spending time with them, sharing in their milestones and offering guidance and support whenever needed.
Butch found peace and happiness in the outdoors, particularly through his love of fishing, gardening, and hunting. He shared his passions with family and friends, often passing down the wisdom he had gained from years of experience. Butch was also a house painter who took pride in his work, always aiming to please his customers.
Throughout his life, Butch touched the hearts of many, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. His warmth, kindness, smile, and infectious sense of humor will be remembered by family, friends, and neighbors alike.
Butch lived a beautiful life—one filled with laughter, integrity, and love. He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of being part of his life.
