Yorktown School District to hold free virtual presentation

YORKTOWN, N.Y. — The Yorktown Central School District will host a free virtual presentation next week focused on safe and responsible technology use. 

Led by internet safety expert Katie Greer, the webinar is open to students, parents, and educators. It will cover current tech trends, managing screen time, and strategies for ensuring safe online behavior. 

Funded by a grant, the session will provide practical tools for limiting device access, managing screen time, and keeping parents engaged in their children’s digital lives. The event will take place via Zoom on Thursday, Jan. 23, at 7 p.m. Interested community members can join using this link.
