Yonkers woman accused of using Yorktown residents’ credit cards

A 34-year-old Yonkers woman was arrested for allegedly using another person’s credit cards to make online purchases without permission, Yorktown Police said.

Yorktown police reponded to a Yorktown home on March 3 after a report of a possile identity left. AN investigation found that Elizabeth Palencia used the victim’s credit cards without authorization. Shefaces two counts of second-degree identity theft, a class E felony, and two counts of petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor.

She was issued a desk appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on April 9.
