SOUTH SALEM, N.Y. - For the 17th straight year, the Vista Fire Department held their annual “Toys for Tots Holiday Toy Drive.”
On Saturday, Dec. 7, at the Vista Firehouse, members of the community donated toys and were able to get their picture taken with Santa Claus, decorate cookies and make their own ornaments! The department would like to thank everyone who donated a toy, their own Vista Fire Department Auxiliary for all their help with the decoration stations, and Paul’s Pharmacy & The Farmer’s Grind for having the department’s toy donation collection boxes at their stores.
The toys collected were picked up by the Westchester County branch of the Toys for Tots organization and will be distributed on Christmas day.
