SOMERS, N.Y. - The Friends of the Somers Library will begin accepting donations for the Annual Book Sale this week.
A Message from The Friends of the Somers Library
The Friends of the Somers Library have an exciting lineup of events coming up this fall!
We will be at Celebrate Somers on Saturday, Sept. 26, where we will have raffle baskets, totes and other fun accessories for sale! We’re also gearing up for our Annual Book Sale, our biggest fundraiser of the year. Books, games, puzzles and DVD donations will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 15, and the sale will be held Nov. 13–15. Start setting aside your gently used donations now! The Friends will also be hosting a Tellebration: an International Storytelling Festival at Somers Library, at 10 a.m. on Nov. 21.
Be sure to visit somerslibrary.org for updates on these events and any additional pop-up sales or special activities throughout the season. Also follow us on Instagram @somerslibraryfriends or Facebook at The Friends of the Somers Public Library
Our annual appeal will also be mailed in October. Thank you for supporting the Friends of the Somers Library. You can also pick up our appeal flyer at the library. Your generosity helps fund library programs, technology, museum passes, special events, and so much more for our community!
