STEAM Fair
From 12 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15. The Westchester Children's Museum is returning to present another family STEAM fair, a Table-Top Family event where they will bring some of their most popular STEAM activities for families to enjoy and learn from together. This event will have multiple activities set up around the room at the same time, allowing participants to go around and experience them all at their own pace. Come and finish off the summer with some STEAM fun!
Coffeehouse Open Mic
From 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15. Open Mic is a great chance to perform, try out new material or just enjoy the performances as an audience member. Each performer has about five minutes to perform and the possible chance of more time if the evening allows. The library has a sound system, drums and piano or keyboard on hand. This is a fun evening and a cheap date night! Snacks, coffee and tea are provided.
The library asks that performances be appropriate for a general audience, with content no stronger than PG-13. Register online or by calling the library.
