Luke Bellas: Immersive Worlds of Imagination

The Center for the Digital Arts Gallery at SUNY Westchester Peekskill is thrilled to present Luke Bellas, a dynamic and visually captivating exhibition on view from Sept. 1 through Dec. 4.

This vibrant exhibition spotlights the work of emerging local artist Luke Bellas, whose bold paintings bring to life wildly imaginative characters inspired by the rich visual language of video games. Drawing from a lifelong passion for gaming, Bellas creates energetic, zany worlds filled with fantastical creatures and larger-than-life personalities that leap off the canvas with color, movement, and intensity.

The Domestic Lives of the Founding Families

Through Oct. 4 at the Katonah Museum of Art. This exhibition explores the private worlds of America’s founders through furniture, fine art, decorative, and personal objects from their homes—revealing how domestic spaces shaped political life and diplomacy. With special focus on New York figures such as John Jay and Alexander Hamilton among others, Diplomacy at Home: The Domestic Lives of the Founding Families also foregrounds the essential roles of women including Martha Washington and Sarah Jay, who were instrumental to the development of the political and diplomatic culture of the newly formed United States. The exhibition highlights the value of material culture in defining the Founding Families’ central role as the architects who framed the foundation for our collective national history and explores the meaning of “home” across lives defined by public service.

Every Child Deserves a Strong Start

Waterview Hills and Salem Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare are honored to support the incredible work of Friends of Karen, an organization dedicated to helping children with critical illnesses and their families.
