Theresa F. DiMaggio of Brewster, NY, passed away at home unexpectedly, Friday January 9, 2026, at the age of 95.
Theresa was born February 23, 1930, in Clinton, MA, daughter of the late Frank and Elsie (Masselli) Norcia. She graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School in Bronx, NY in 1948. On September 10, 1955, she married Salvatore DiMaggio in the Bronx. Theresa lived in Yorktown, NY, most of her life. After her husband Salvatore passed away she moved to Brewster, NY. Theresa was recognized by many as a great cook; she loved getting together with family and cooking meals for them. She made the best meatballs. Her other favorite pastime was watching Days of Our Lives and Hallmark movies.
Theresa is survived by her daughter Diane Fanning and her husband Henry of Carmel, NY, three grandchildren: Daniel, Caitlin and Nicole. She is also survived by her two brothers Frank Norcia (Kathy) and Tom Norcia of Florida. Her brother Anthony predeceased her.
Theresa will be buried with her husband Salvatore in Amawalk Cemetery in Amawalk, NY at a later date. A mass of Christian burial will be Celebrated at St. James The Apostle Church in Carmel, NY at a date to be announced.
