Susan Helen Brugger, 80, of Mount Kisco, New York passed away surrounded by the love of her family. Susan was born on December 18, 1945, in Yonkers, New York, to John and Helen Peters. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bert Brugger. Susan is survived by her loving son, Gregg Brugger Sarah her daughter, Gennyne Vittorini Brianand her three beautiful grandchildren, whom she adored dearly, Joey, Maire, and Tadhg. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Dina, Donna, and Danny. Susan devoted more than 30 years of her life to working for the City of Yonkers Public School District. She was also a dedicated volunteer at many animal shelters throughout Westchester County, where her compassion and love for animals touched countless lives. Those who knew Susan will remember her for her incredible generosity, kindness, infectious laughter, and warm smile. She had a special way of making people feel cared for and loved. Her devotion to her family, her compassion for animals, and the warmth she shared with others will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Susan leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
