Support our Democratic Candidates

I am writing to express my support for Supervisor Chris Burdick, and Town Board candidates Bobbi Bittker and Ellen Calves. They are friendly, approachable, and enthusiastically ask questions about the community and what they can do to improve the community we live in.  Already as Supervisor Chris Burdick has fielded my calls regarding sidewalks, traffic speeds, and snow plowing.  I have watched him respond to questions on Facebook’s Katonah-Parents, at public forums, and even during his personal time at the gym and grocery store.  In every exchange I have found him to be open, engaged, and responsive.  I have only just recently met Ms. Bittker and Ms. Calves, but am impressed by their dedication and passion.   From door to door canvassing week after week, spending 2-4 hours a night appealing for donations, writing post cards, or thank you notes, these women are working hard to show they truly care about the Town Board positions.  Already involved in our community through Katonah-Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps, the Bedford Community Theatre, Bedford 2020, the Katonah Village Improvement Society Board, these women appreciate value of our tax dollars, schools, and community to our children and families.  They bring a broad array of experience, knowledge and interests to the table all of which will help inform their decisions should they be elected to the Town Board. I welcome those thoughts, and hope they will have that opportunity.
