SOMERS, N.Y. - Vendors of everything from honey and handcrafted headgear to vintage treasures and spooky wooden carvings packed the field at Reis Park last weekend for the Somers Women’s Club’s Annual Autumn Sale.
There were books to be bought, art to admire, jewelry to jangle, baked goodies to gorge on, raffle tickets to buy, and loads of second-hand housewares and toys to rummage through.
Besides giving folks a great excuse to get outside in the sunshine, the event helped raise funds for local charities.
