SOMERS, N.Y. - In the early hours of Saturday, Nov. 22, the Somers Volunteer Fire Department responded to a single-vehicle rollover at the intersection of Route 139 and Brick Hill Road.
Units arrived around 1:35 a.m. to find one person trapped inside the vehicle. Firefighters and Somers EMS worked quickly to safely extricate the individual, who was then assessed and transported to a local hospital.
The roadway was closed for roughly an hour while emergency crews handled the scene, after which units returned to service. No further details on the patient’s condition were released.
