Carmel shred day rescheduled for Oct. 3
The Town of Carmel’s residential shred day has been postponed because of the impending storm and rescheduled for Saturday, Oct. 3.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at 179 East Lake Boulevard, at the corner of Croton Falls Road. It is open only to Town of Carmel residents, who must provide proof of residency.
Each vehicle may bring up to three file boxes of paper. Staples, paper clips and file folders with metal strips do not need to be removed. Participants may watch the shredding process on a monitor beside the truck.
Plastics, CDs, DVDs, X-rays, hard drives, three-ring binders and binder clips will not be accepted.
