Dear Editor,
As members of the North Salem Republican Town Committee, we proudly support Supervisor Warren Lucas for re-election.
For decades, Warren Lucas has served the people of North Salem, first as a member of the Town Board and for more than 15 years as our Town Supervisor. His leadership has been steady, experienced and grounded in a deep commitment to our community.
When North Salem experienced a period of instability in 2009, Warren stepped forward to help restore confidence and professionalism at Town Hall. Since then, he has worked diligently to maintain public trust, strengthen fiscal discipline and ensure that local government operates with transparency and accountability.
Two years ago, when Warren marked 15 years as Supervisor, alongside Deputy Supervisor Peter Kamenstein, residents and elected officials of all political affiliations gathered in North Salem to celebrate his leadership. Democrat and Republican officeholders from North Salem, and all across Westchester County, recognized his dedication to North Salem. That bipartisan respect speaks volumes about the kind of leader he is.
Under his stewardship, North Salem has benefited from responsible budgeting, support for essential services and first responders, and a continued commitment to preserving the rural character and quality of life that define our town. He has consistently approached governance as a responsibility, not an opportunity for attention.
Experience matters. Stability matters. Integrity matters. For decades, Warren Lucas has demonstrated all three.
We encourage residents to support proven leadership and re-elect Supervisor Warren Lucas.
