SOUTH SALEM, N.Y. - Earlier this month, the community came together to honor the memory of Brooke D’Aleo, who lost a courageous battle with leukemia last summer at age 16.
On May 2, Lewisboro Town Park became a place of unity and a celebration of Brooke’s life, with face painting, a memorial softball game, dancing, and food trucks, all to raise funds for local families who have a child with a life-threatening illness and need support.
