Peter Molino of Yorktown Heights, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026, surrounded by his family.
He was born on November 20, 1941, in the Bronx, to the late Pietro and Maria (Spadaccini) Molino.
Peter worked for Fordham Supply, in the Bronx, for over 47 years before his retirement. He was a proud union member of Local 888.
In August of 1961, Pete (as he was known to friends and family), entered the U.S. Army Corps. He was awarded medals for marksman (rifle), Sharpshooter (carbine), and Good Conduct. He also served during the Cuban Missile Crisis and was sent to Cuba. Pete was proud of the time he spent in the service.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years JoAnn (Scaduto). In addition to JoAnn, he is survived by his sons Pete (Michelle) and Mario (Christine); his cherished grandchildren Angelina, Pete, and Rachel. He is also survived by his brother Anthony and sisters Angelina (Bob) Wanner, Tessie, Eleanor and niece Donna (Jake) Jacob. He was predeceased by his sisters Nettie, Mary, Connie (Tony) and Ida (Charles) Harrington.
On Thursday, July 9, 2026 friends and family are welcome to attend a visitation from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Yorktown Funeral Home in Shrub Oak. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday July 10, at 10 a.m. at Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Shrub Oak. A private interment will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Pete's name can be made to DAV (Disabled American Veterans) or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
