Paddle for hope: Pickleball Barn tournament raises $2,800 for suicide prevention

SOMERS, N.Y. - The Pickleball Barn in Somers hosted its second annual Paddle for Hope tournament on Saturday, Sept. 26, bringing together pickleball players and community members for a day of fun, competition and an important cause. The event raised $2,800 for the Litchfield County Out of the Darkness Walk, benefiting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

The tournament was a great success, with a strong turnout and an enthusiastic group of participants coming together to support suicide prevention and mental health awareness. The Pickleball Barn is grateful to everyone who played, donated, volunteered and helped make the event such a meaningful and memorable day.
