MAHOPAC, N.Y. - A one-car accident closed the entrance to Baldwin Road from Route 6 for more than 30 minutes on Monday, April 7.
At around 1:15 p.m., the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department (MVFD) and Carmel Police Department responded to a call of a car that had crashed into a utility pole.
The driver of the vehicle was able to extricate themselves prior to the arrival of police and fire services. The subject reported no injuries and refused medical transport for evaluation.
The vehicle was inoperable and had to be towed from the scene.
