North Salem voters pass school budget, capital project proposition

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - On Tuesday, May 20, voters in the North Salem Central School District headed to the polls and approved the 2025-26 school budget of $52,377,964 by a measure of 393 to 192 according to unofficial results.

Voters also cast their ballots in favor of a proposition to fund a $24.5 million districtwide capital project that includes infrastructure improvements at the Middle School/High School, Pequenakonck Elementary, and the district's bus garage.

The proposition passed by a tally of 345 to 243.

Finally, Board of Education trustees Deborah D'Agostino, Frances Havard, and Brandy Keenan were all re-elected after running unopposed.
