NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - The North Salem Republican Town Committee is pleased to announce the opening of its Fall 2025 Internship Program, offering local students and young adults an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in community engagement, local government, and political organization.
The program is ideal for motivated individuals interested in learning about grassroots politics, public policy, event planning, and voter outreach. Interns will assist with community events, research projects, communications, and other activities that support the Committee’s mission of promoting responsible government and Republican values in North Salem.
This is a great way for young people to understand how local government works, meet community leaders, and develop skills they can carry into future careers. We see this as both a service to the community and an investment in the next generation of leaders.
The internship is part-time and flexible to accommodate school schedules. Interns will have the chance to participate in planning and staffing local events, learn about voter engagement and civic outreach, assist in research and policy discussions, and gain organizational and leadership skills.
High school and college students are encouraged to apply. Applicants should be dependable, community-minded, and aligned with the conservative principles of limited government, fiscal responsibility, and individual liberty. This is an nnpaid internship, but applicants can apply for school credit.
To apply, send a brief statement of interest and/or resume to northsalemrepublicans@gmail.com
