Mount Kisco Chamber of Commerce Corner for June

Posted

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. - Welcome to June, the month of recitals, playoffs, graduations, weddings and preparations for summer!

The Mount Kisco Chamber of Commerce has several congratulations to spread. First, the 2025 Chamber Honors took place at the Hotel MTK on May 15. There was a well-deserved standing ovation for the Citizen of the Year, Jane Pieragostini, whose video wowed the attendees. Business of the Year, Minuteman Press (Steve Young) and the Organization of the Year, the Mount Kisco Historical Society, were definitely fan favorites. It was a night of celebration, shared with good friends and colleagues. Congratulations all around!

We also want to congratulate the Sesquicentennial committee for an amazing job honoring the 150th anniversary of Mount Kisco’s incorporation. The time and effort put in was certainly tempered by the rain, but the spirit of the Village was in full view. There’s still merchandise available for purchase at the MK150 website, www.mtkisco150.com. The selection is wonderful and all great keepsakes.

Moving into June, we are looking forward to our next downtown festivity - Chalk the Walk on Saturday, June 21. Participating businesses will have chalk in front of their shops for people to leave messages of encouragement and love.

Our sights are set on, and we are swiftly moving toward, our spectacular SeptemberFest weekend. September 12, 13, 14 will see Mount Kisco transformed into a street fair extravaganza, music festival, food court and carnival! Be a vendor, bring the family, make more memories of life in a small, bucolic village. If you want to participate, visit the Chamber website at www.mtkiscochamber.com

Please remember to reach out to the Mount Kisco Chamber of Commerce with questions and/or concerns regarding Mount Kisco. We are here to help you. Thank you and enjoy your summer!
