MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. - July proved to be a scorcher, but ended with a robust feast during Tomato Week! The culinary creations from over 20 Mount Kisco eateries were truly delicious. We hope that many of you participated in this initiative by the MKCC and found it as refreshing as we did.
The Chamber has been actively working in cooperation with Mayor Cindrich to find a workable solution to the changes in the parking regulations. We find that direct communication, offering suggestions, and both parties understanding the Village's financial needs can make for a productive and positive outcome. We will maintain open communication lines and keep the public informed.
August is our month for SeptemberFest preparations, firming up vendors (there are still openings), and preparing the schedule for an epic weekend on Sept. 12-14. Food trucks are lined up and musical acts are raring to go.
The carnival, food court, and music will begin at 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12. The Street Fair is on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the carnival, food court, and music from noon until 11 p.m.! Sunday's hours are noon to 8 p.m. As we get closer to the weekend, the full schedule will be on our website at www.mtkiscochamber.com.
We need over 100 volunteers over the weekend to make this another successful event. If you have 2 hours to volunteer and want to have a blast, we have a volunteer sign-up at www.signupgenius.com. We would greatly appreciate your support.
We gratefully acknowledge our partners and supporters. We continue to strive to keep the energy in Mount Kisco, and thank you for your patronage.
