Tanner McCracken, a Republican and Mahopac School Board trustee, kicked off his campaign for Putnam County legislator last Thursday with a well-attended event, drawing support from community members, local leaders and grassroots supporters from across the county.
Held at Four Brothers Restaurant in Mahopac and hosted by Ken Kearney and his family, the event highlighted McCracken’s message of fiscal responsibility, affordability and transparent government. Attendees gathered to show enthusiasm for his vision of a stronger, more affordable future for Putnam County.
“I am incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support we saw at our kickoff. I am blessed to have the right people in my corner,” McCracken said. “This campaign is about putting people first, protecting taxpayers and making Putnam County more affordable for families, seniors and small businesses. The energy in the room made it clear that voters are ready for principled, accountable leadership — and together, we are going to win.”
McCracken thanked the event hosts, sponsors and supporters for helping launch the campaign with momentum.
McCracken is seeking the endorsement of the Town of Carmel Republican Committee and will continue engaging voters throughout legislative District 8.
