MAHOPAC, N.Y. — Voters passed the Mahopac Central School District's 2025-26 budget overwhelmingly last night (June 17) in a re-vote, approving the same budget initially proposed and defeated on May 20, but this time with a 0 percent tax increase.
According to the Mahopac district clerk's webpage, the $145,137,805 budget passed with 1,498 in favor and 610 against.
In May, the same budget — which then carried a 1 percent tax increase — lost with 1,189 in favor and 1,248 against.
