Lakeland schools grant tenure to 19

The Lakeland Central School District celebrated its tenure recipients from across the district at the May 28 Board of Education meeting, held at Lakeland Copper Beech Middle School, where 19 educators and administrators were granted tenure.

Calling it “one of the highest honors a school district can bestow,” Superintendent of Schools Karen Gagliardi praised the honorees for their professional dedication and commitment to the district’s students.

“These individuals lead with both high expectations and deep compassion, inspiring students each day while helping shape the future of our schools and community,” Gagliardi said. “We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and grateful for the lasting impact they continue to make across Lakeland.”
