MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. - The body of a homeless man was found in Mount Kisco on Sunday, Dec. 22, Westchester County police report.
Toxicology tests will determine if alcohol or drugs played a role in the man’s demise, police said.
A patrol officer was flagged down by a man asking for a welfare check on a possibly intoxicated person in a wooded area near Lexington Avenue and Lieto Drive.
The officer found the man and determined that he was dead. Several open containers of alcohol were found near the body, police said.
The deceased was later identified as Adalmo Ramirez-Garcia, age 59, who was homeless at the time of his death.
Detectives were notified and responded to the scene.
There were no signs of any injuries to the man and the death was determined to be non-suspicious.
The deceased was removed from the scene by the Westchester County Medical Examiner’s Office.
