Friends of Karen, a nonprofit organization that provides vital support to families with a child battling a life-threatening illness, recently announced the formation of its Westchester Advisory Board. This newly established board brings together a dynamic group of professionals, community leaders, and advocates who are deeply committed to advancing Friends of Karen’s mission throughout Westchester County.
The Westchester Advisory Board will play a key role in raising awareness, fostering community engagement, and generating resources to help families facing the unimaginable challenges of caring for an ill child. Members will lend their expertise in fundraising, outreach, and advocacy, helping to ensure that no family faces their child’s illness alone.
Gabriella DiSisto, Senior Manager of Individual and Planned Giving and Judith Factor, Executive Director are honored to welcome this inspiring group of individuals to the Friends of Karen family, their dedication and deep ties to the Westchester community will help bring help, hope and support to even more families in need.
