Free Seminar Helps Homeowners Prepare for Winter

Capital Shield Agency will host “Winterize Your Home: Protect Your Home & Your Budget,” a free seminar and resource fair, on Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at KeyBank’s Cortlandt Manor branch, 3000 E. Main St. Sponsored by KeyBank and hosted by Capital Shield’s John Cerini and Mike Alba, the event will offer practical tips and resources to help residents prepare their homes and finances for winter.

Attendees can meet professionals in roofing, heating and cooling, flooring, insurance, home inspection and lending. Topics will include preventing costly winter damage, home maintenance and safety, insurance protection, emergency planning and financing home repairs.
