The Field Hall Foundation has promoted Patti Lavan Horvath from program officer to executive director, effective July 1.
Horvath has been with the foundation since 2019, where she’s helped shape its grantmaking work, build community partnerships and support its mission to improve the lives of older adults in Dutchess, Putnam and Westchester counties.
“Patti’s dedication, vision, and deep understanding of both the Foundation’s history and its future opportunities make her exceptionally qualified to lead the organization,” said Chief Executive Officer John R. Ahearn in a June 24 press release. “From the Foundation’s earliest days, she has been instrumental in building an organization that has awarded more than $5.5 million in grants to support older adults and strengthen our communities.”
Horvath said in the release she is “honored by the Board’s confidence in me and grateful for the opportunity to serve as Executive Director,” adding that “having been part of the Foundation from the beginning, I have witnessed firsthand the extraordinary impact our nonprofit partners make every day.”
She expressed enthusiasm about continuing the Foundation’s work and collaborating with grantees, community leaders and board members to expand opportunities and improve lives throughout the region.
