Eleanor Haggerty of Brewster, New York passed away on February 3, 2025.
Eleanor was born on December 23, 1937, in Yonkers, NY to Ralph and Florence Crosby. Eleanor was an avid artist with a special interest in carousel folk art. She devoted her time to perfecting her craft and was able to donate pieces to children’s hospitals and museums. She enjoyed spending time with family members, her cats, and crafting. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Haggerty and her son, Joseph Haggerty. She is survived by her daughter, Tara Messina and son-in-law Albert Messina, daughter-in-law Gail Haggerty, grandchildren Jesse and Lauren Haggerty, Douglas and Sheila Haggerty, Raymond Haggerty, Lily Messina and Nicholas Sheehy, and Isabelle Messina as well as great-grandchildren Luke, Jayce, Noah, Gavin, Theodore, and Cillian.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster NY 10509.
Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025 at St. Lawrence O’Toole Catholic Church, 31 Prospect Street, Brewster, NY 10509.
