Edwina Josephine Soderblom, 91, of Waccabuc, NY formerly of Peekskill, NY passed away Tuesday, September 1. 2026, at Regional Hospice in Danbury, CT.
Edwina was born September 4, 1934 in Peekskill, NY to Edwin and Rhoda Travis. She graduated from Peekskill High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Columbia University in New York City. She went on to have a long nursing career with Westchester County public health department, first as a home health nurse and later as a supervisor , retiring in 1996.
Edwina married Theodore Soderblom on January 14, 1967, and together had three daughters, and a marriage that spanned 40 years.
She is the beloved mother of daughters, Christine Bree of Katonah, NY and Jill Coletta, of Waccabuc, NY, and loving grandmother to four Grandsons Aidan, Ethan, Jack and Liam. Edwina is also survived by three nephews and one niece. She joins in heaven her husband Ted and daughter Sharon Napoli.
