Diaz honored for leadership and community service

I would like to extend my congratulations to Braille Diaz for being honored at Congressman Mike Lawler’s Hispanic Heritage Changemakers Awards held earlier this month in Rockland County.

The event recognized leaders throughout the Hudson Valley who have made outstanding contributions to their communities during Hispanic Heritage Month, which falls from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15.

Mr. Diaz’s recognition is well deserved. His leadership, integrity and commitment to public service reflect the values this celebration represents. As he now campaigns for County Legislator in District 2, Mr. Diaz continues to exemplify the spirit of civic engagement and dedication to community that strengthen New York’s 17th Congressional District.

I also want to thank Congressman Lawler for hosting this celebration and for highlighting the many Hispanic Americans whose hard work and achievements enrich our district and our nation.
