Barbara Ryder Calabrese of Yorktown Heights passed away on Sept. 19, 2026. She was born in Ossining, NY on Sept. 14, 1936 to Charles and Lillian Ryder of Yorktown Heights. Barbara grew up in Yorktown Heights and graduated from Yorktown High School in 1955. She married Al Calabrese in Peekskill, NY and moved to Shrub Oak. She worked at Readers Digest in Pleasantville and at IBM in Somers as a receptionist guard. Barbara is predeceased by her dear husband, Al. Loving mother of Kelly Ann Calabrese Coane and cherished mother in law of Eric Coane.
