Artisan & Vintage Flea Market brings crafters to Pound Ridge

Posted

Large crowds were drawn by fresh air, sunshine and the chance to snag beautiful and unique objects to Pound Ridge's fifth annual Artisan & Vintage Flea Market, which was held in Scotts Corners on Labor Day.

The celebration of local creativity and community was organized by the Pound Ridge Business Association.

Vendors lined up on Westchester Avenue to offer everything from one-of-a-kind hats, shoes, and clothing and artwork to charcuterie boards and craft cocktails in cans.

There was also African art, antique ephemera and treasures, knitted gear for the littles, herbal teas, small batch spirits, bountiful blooms, boho beaded jewelry, diet-busting chocolate chip cookies, soothing bath and body products, hand-thrown pottery, and much more.

Highlights included live music performances by Benny Mikula and Riley Cotton, food trucks and a family fun area hosted by The Giggling Pig, an art and party studio.

Admission was free and shuttle bus service was provided from the town's park and Town House.
