John C. Hart Library’s January art exhibit features artwork from students at Lakeland Panas High School. The creative artwork—which went on display Jan. 8—transforms the larger community room and main library area with drawings, paintings, digital works, photography and ceramics.

Superintendent of Schools Karen Gagliardi said, “Lakeland is proud of its continued collaboration with the John C. Hart Library as we share the talents of our students with the local community. It is a pleasure working with the Hart Library on events throughout the year which expand learning experiences, creativity and community involvement.”

“We are always pleased to work together as a department and love being able to give our students the opportunity to exhibit in an active community space,” added Tiffany Dyckman, the coordinator of K-12 art and a member of Lakeland High School’s art faculty.

The exhibit is free and open to the public as part of the library’s celebration of local artists.
