Aaron Andreasen (Pratt), of New Milford, CT, unexpectedly passed away at home on Saturday, August 8, at the age of 36.
Born on October 4, 1989, to Beth Pratt in New Milford, CT, Aaron graduated from New Life Christian Academy in 2010. He then joined the Air Force Reserve where he served for six years.
Aaron was a devoted husband to Ashley, with whom he loved to travel the world. Together they explored more than 8 countries, visited countless petting zoos, and shared a beautiful home in New Milford after getting married on December 28, 2022. Anyone who knew Aaron knew he was a lover of all animals, and could be regularly found cuddling one of his five cats, feeding his fish, or enjoying several servings of Ashley’s spectacular cooking and baked goods. He was a proud vet tech at Aspetuck Animal hospital in New Preston.
Besides his wife Ashley and his mother Beth, Aaron is survived by his sister Moriah Pratt of Seattle, WA; Maternal Grandfather Ronald Pratt of Torrington, CT, many aunts, uncles and cousins and his beloved cats Gronk, Brady, Mini, Dahlia and Waffles. He was pre-deceased by his maternal grandmother Merle Pratt.
Calling hours will take place Saturday August 15, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave., Brewster, NY followed by a Celebration of Life at the Miry Brook Volunteer Fire Dept., 57 Miry Brook Rd., Danbury, CT 06810.
