Dear Editor,
We've got a small window before voting begins for job openings in our state and federal government. This election will mark whether people want the same inflation, corruption, lawlessness, and cruelty playing out now or make a change for the better, because you can't expect a different result from the same people who are getting us into this mess!
That means getting rid of Congressman Mike Lawler of District 17, who writes well and speaks well but lies continuously to his voters and votes to protect his leader, not us! Let's also vote out this gang of Congressional Republicans who sat on their hands, not doing their job, while allowing President Trump to send our fine young men and women to fight this awful war of choice! That means Mr. Lawler, too!
We must cast our votes for people who know what you and I are paying for gas and food these days and who know that you actually like your fellow residents, even if they do come from different countries; after all, except for Native Americans, we are all immigrants or their kin.
Whether you vote by mail-in ballot (that the President and his party tried to stop) or you vote directly at the polls, please remember that those who stood by while the President signed executive orders (many unlawful) need to be sent home to watch the corn grow - that's means Mr. Lawler too!
Let's let intelligent people who believe in the Constitution and the letter of the law take their place! So, if you're an independent, Republican, Democrat or none-of-the-above, vote Democratic this time and let's hold them all to account.
