'Working just fine!' Putnam avoids voting machine problems plaguing Westchester

Posted

UPDATED AT 2:56 P.M.

Putnam County voting machines are working as expected as neighboring Westchester experiences major problems on Election Day.

Responding to an email query to the Putnam County Board of Elections, Republican Commissioner Kelly Primavera told Halston Media that there were no issues in the county.

"The machines here in Putnam County are working just fine!" she said.

Meanwhile, Westchester voters will likely have to wait to learn the outcome of numerous races, including one of the most closely watched congressional races in the country between incumbent Republican Mike Lawler and Democratic challenger Cait Conley for New York's 17th Congressional District.

Halston Media has been following the situation in Westchester closely. You can find the latest at news.halstonmedia.com.
